This holiday season, we are pleased to share an exciting update that is rooted in the gratitude, joy, and optimism that defines this time of year at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF).
Construction on our new Clubhouse in Sunnydale is well underway, and we are set to open our doors by the end of this upcoming summer. This new Clubhouse will ensure that hundreds of young people will have a state-of-the-art space to actively and passionately pursue and realize their dreams. Please take a quick virtual tour of the space with me and hear more about why this is making 2024 so bright for our organization!
As we look forward to this and other exciting accomplishments in the coming year, we are profoundly grateful for the generous support of all members of the BGCSF community.
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) had an incredible time celebrating NBA All-Star Game Weekend! We were honored to be a beneficiary of the NBA Cares State Farm Assist Tracker program, which donates $1,900 for every assist made during the NBA All-Star Game. We are deeply grateful to the NBA, State Farm, and NBA Cares for their investment in our mission and our youth.
A year ago, I was a high school senior navigating my final year at Lowell High School and balancing my commitment to soccer and school leadership activities. That’s when I was nominated to participate in Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco’s Youth of the Year program as the finalist from Mission Clubhouse.
Calling all teens! Through our Leaders-In-Training Program, teens become “ready for life” through unique projects, coaching, career exploration and on-the-job training. We welcome all teens in grades 9-12 who want to be part of a welcoming and inclusive environment and develop their leadership skills!
